Ok, so i'm trying to get my leaves/twigs looking good.

I have a few leaves i got from corelpaint, and they look good, but its missing a twig. So i broke off twig from outside and scanned it, then saved it, and when you do this it saves on a canvas, or white background or whatever you call it and thats no good for me.

How do i save just the twig, without the background as i need to manouver the twig into its place on my header thing, and cant do this when it has a white background.

lol... photoshop FTW!!!

pull it into photoshop, use the magic wand selection tool and then cut the twig and paste onto a new transparent layer.

OTOH, you could just e-mail the file to one of us and we can do it for you. :p
