How do I setup ethernet instead of USB

Hey everyone, was just wondering how I set up my iburst connection through ethernet instead of USB, heard it works better.

1) Internet Options
2) Connections Tab
3) Click Add
4) Select Connect to the network via broadband
5) Type in a Name for the connection (iBurst or something)
6) Tick the checkbox that says Automatically detect dettings
7) Fill in user name e.g [email protected]
8) Fill in Password
9) Leave Domain blank
10) Click OK
11) Go to Network Connections, you will see your newly created connection there.

Hi you should have the connection slinky refered to already just swap the cables and viola.

Ok guys thanks. Got the connection all setup, but when i try connect it doesn't. I have my modem connected with ethernet to a hub, which in turn is connected to my computer. Do i have to connect the modem straight to my computer?

Your setup although not the ideal setup used to work for me, I don't see why it should change. But do try plugging it straight in as a test. I had a problem before like that when I didn't set the mtu but I am sure you have done that.
