Hey,

I installed Linux Mint 11 (Katya) on my computer about 2 weeks ago.

The Linux Mint was the OEM 64Bit version. It did not have a Wubi installer (The installer that allows you to install und uninstall Linux While you are on Windows), so I had to boot into the CD, Allocate space to Linux, and then Install.

Is there anyway I can uninstall / remove Linux Mint 11 from my computer bescides formatting my whole hard drive?

Thanks :)

delete the partition its on. fix the mbr from windows. if needed you can then expand the windows partition with partition manager or a similar tool.

No need to format the whole drive. Is your boot loader fine? Will you be able to restore the windows boot loader?
If yes, then all you need is a partitioning tool to either delete or reformat the linux partition so that windows can again use it. Download the gparted liveCD, it should do everything you need done.

@MyWorld, Where can I download the liveCD from?

And How do I restore the Windows Boot loader?? When I start up my computer, This Linux screen shows me a list of Operating Systems to boot into (i assume that is the Boot loader).

@Razor, How do I delete the Partition it is on? Only 1 Hard Drive shows on my computer, there is no other hard drive. When I installed Mint, it asked me to Allocate space to it (I allocated 15GB of space). It doesn't show the Linux Partition. When I go into linux and use the Disk management, it shows me the section where Linux is installed on my Hard drive - there were 2 sections that were owned by Linux.

I know i sound dumb, and im dumb at Linux, didnt know Linux 11 would be so complicated to remove. (G)

Ok, and The Boot manager? How do I change (on windows) that Windows is the Default Boot manager?

I deleted the last 2 partitions and couldnt boot into windows, so i had to install Linux again. Im on local usage (for internet).
