yor DS Line Attenuation of 42 is quite high....

Attenuation refers to resistance. If this value is high, then the signal quality is low, and vice versa. Is the customer far away from the exchange? Long copper lines could be the cause of attenuation. A value above 55 dB is of concern (bad).

Well its our line. We only about 1km away from the exchange. Our line went dead for a while this morning then came back up with these stats

Ds Rate (Kbps) 4096
US Margin 14
DS Margin 12
Trained Modulation ADSL_G.dmt
LOS Errors 0

US Line Attenuation 24
Peak Cell Rate 1207 cells per sec

CRC Tx Interleaved 0

Seems the same as before, but havent lost sync once in the past 2 hours. usually we lose sync every 10 minutes

Maybe it was just big noise spikes on your line that have been sorted out.
