I like being annoying. Makes people do their job properly. F- them all, lazy buggers

Visited a BMW dealer on Monday with my friend who is wanting to upgrade. 5 people sitting at their desks. Not one moved

We walked around for 10 mins and looked at an X5 on the floor. Eventually, he went to a fellow who was at his desk, feet on the desk and talking on his mobile phone. He banged on the desk and shouted. The fellow shot up and the sales manager appeared. To compound the error, this fellow said he had not seen us. We were the only people in this showroom, apart from staff who looked the other way

We walked out and went to Auric Auto in Claremont. Completely different attitude. In 30 mins he bought an X6 for R1.7m. That is a sale the other idiots did not get

A good place to start is with the understanding that the phrase there's no such thing as a dumb question is actually a load of bollocks.

So how do people avoid being annoying to others, besides shutting the duck up?

Subtlety #1: Not giving a **** is not about being indifferent. It just means you're comfortable with being different. Don't say **** it to everything in life, just to the unimportant things. Subtlety #2: To not give a **** about adversity, you must first care about something more important than adversity.

Ah, oh, okay, @Jings. I'm relatively new here, and overlooked the fact that the gender-assumption question in this thread had been about a specific user. I was replying in general, to: "What is the opposite of assume?". Thanks.

In that case, welcome to the forum. Hope you have many happy years here. I really couldn't think of the antonym at the time and did appreciate appreciate your provision of the definition.
