How do you buy telkom LTE data

Hi.

So I went to the store and got the 50GB LTE deal on my B593 Router. Now the data has run out and I can't for the life of me figure out where to buy another one of the LTE deals. The guy at the store said I can buy it online.

I have tried using the top up option but the only options I have is to buy the expensive (normal mobile) data deals where it is like almost 2k for 100GB plus. I have tried the app and I get the same data bundle options. There is no LTE specials or anything.

Is there a special link I need to follow?

use the purchase bundle option, not top up.

Put the Telkom Sim into your router "without Data" go to http://onnet.telkom.co.za you can 100 + 100 GB for R749
i think you have to send 749 Rand airtime to your telkom Sim Card.

Does the telkom sim need to be without data? It still has a little bit of data left?

The 100GB option is not available at all as seen in the screenshots

Im wondering whether the sim is not "smartbroadband" and whether I should put it in my phone and run the *180# command. That what I have been reading up, but not entirely sure

Just connect to router and go to bloody https://onnetsecure.telkom.co.za ? You wont be able to change the type of plan you are on if that is what you want.

On the top 2 (SmartBroadband Wireless) I can access the below menu:



On the bottom plan (labeled Tablet, and which is SmartInternet)), I can only see:

You go buy a Telkom prepaid sim, see if you can change it to SmartBroadband Wireless option, then put it into router, load R749 airtime to it via Internet banking/app, and buy the bundle...
