How do you even communicate with Takealot?

Ordered a bunch of stuff on Takealot. The one little R70 fan I ordered, they say it has been cancelled and they credited my account. Okay cool, I see it's in stock for R70 still, but from another re-seller. So I order it again, but... I have to pay shipping? So nothing has actually shipped yet. Why can't I add this item to my current order? Why must I pay shipping when originally I didn't have to?

This is so lame, even Amazon doesn't do this
 
It's almost impossible to contact them. I put a query up on twitter and got a response some days later.

There's a contact form on their website. I used it and got results pretty quickly. The email address doesn't work anymore.

I tried that and got a 'well this is awkward' screen after typing out my issue. Kinda annoying. I'll try to call thanks
 
Light a fire, look into a mirror and whisper Nasper 4-9 times, channel your African privilege and then tweet at them your grievances.
 
Good luck - my wife returned something, they collected on Monday. The website still says "Collection Scheduled" - it took them till yesterday only to respond the item is on the way to their warehouse.

So - from Monday, till now - its on the way to the warehouse, 9km from our house. I'll give it till end of next week - if I don't have a proper response I'll do a charge back on my credit card.
 
I've found that Facebook is the best and fastest way to reach them
 
I phoned them about an order 2 days ago, contact centre answered in 3 minutes, the lady even phoned me back after contacting the driver.
 
Even if you do get through to them I doubt they're going to send you that fan with free delivery.

Save yourself the time and ask for a refund. Then make a new account to order the fan (first delivery is free).

i throw the parcels they send me that other people ordered at random courier vans. you do it long enough, they notice.
