Yummy, the WW ones are delicious and with the heatwave an' all I thought it would be an idea to make my own.

The one at WW is made with crushed ice.

One method is to brew the coffee twice as strong as usual, add sugar, cool in the fridge then pour over a glass of ice and add full cream milk.
Another method is to cold brew by pouring cold water over the grains and soaking overnight, then straining the liquid off. Randhir mentioned it in the coffee machine thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/670314-Any-of-you-own-Coffee-Machines?highlight=coffee

Some people even use instant coffee - just make it strong.

Have you ever made it and if so, how?

That stuff looks delicious Catman37. Restaurant drinks have the edge as far as flavour goes.

I made the mistake of ordering ice coffee in new york - i got standard filtered black coffee with blocks of ice in it

I make STRONG coffee with good quality instant coffee and sugar, add ice blocks to it to cool it down fast, while it's cooling I get good quality vanilla ice cream out and fill my jug half way up, add a few spoons of condensed milk 1/3 of a run for about 1.5lt coffee. Pour cooled but not cold coffee over ice cream and add 1 tsp of Vanilla extract (not essence- huge difference) then hit it with my hand blender until it's smooth and then pour over fresh ice blocks made from black coffee.

It's better then any store bought coffee I have found.

Did the same thing, in Miami. You have to order the Frapuccino from Starbucks, which is the blended the ice and coffee with a *** load of sugar. But it's so goooood. Starbucks are coming here :)
