How do you manage your animals while working from home

This is today's thread.

So with most of us working from home and having to do meetings via Teams, etc, how do you people manage your pets. Some background.

I'm currently in a meeting and my dog is extremely antisocial. So whenever he sees someone walking past my house he goes bos-befock.

The problem is this happens whenever I want to say something in the meeting and this is going to cause customers to be incorrectly billed.

I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried bribing him with biltong, I've even threatened to cut his hair into a mohawk once I'm done here.

I think the only option left now is to sell my house and let the new owners keep him

With one of the managers on Teams you always hear a dog and birds chirping in the background. That would drive me crazy.

I mute them and turn on my Google Text so that their words are converted to text.

There are 37 attendees in this meeting so there's constant barking, budgies and even a baby crying in the background. People think muting yourself when you're not talking will kill them.

Then there is the sniffer, there always has to be one in the meetings. The heavy breather always tries to compete with them.
Neither feel the need to use the mute button.
 
WTF is this not in Off Topic? TK used to be the spot for this drivel... not H,W,L&R...
 
Also ogre why not lock the dog up in the backyard where he can't bark at the street. Or muzzle the mutt. Chain him up.

Stupid dog making you look bad.
 
My Cat manages me, I prebook the day in its calendar. It does supervise and does Code Reviews though, and can be a great consultant.
 
And that's why I have never in my life owned a dog

Well, they all work an 8 hour day with two 30 minute breaks.
The meals are part of their remuneration package
The cat is the supervisor

The dogs tend to take toilet breaks quite often, and their housekeeping is atrocious.
