Just open the "my computer" window(Explorer window) > Click the "Organize" button on the toolbar > folder and search options > "view" tab and the options are there.

No what happened is that i bought a media player, and that RECYCLEBIN$ keeps on popping up in between TV shows, Movies, and Photo's

Sounds like virus-ish behavior. Do you have and Anti-virus running on the PC?

Cannot agree more with this statement...

If you want to go fiddling around with system files & registry entries(I do that a LOT ) I suggest you get a virtual machine up and running and experiment on that first then once you are really sure you know what you are doing then mess with the real machines system files & registry entries
