how does a second bond work?

I desperately need some information regarding second bonds... I'm aware of how they work, but I need to know:
1. How soon after the first bond is registered can I apply for a second one? I bought this house at a very good price because i bought it for about 200k below what it's valued at.

2. How long do second bonds take to get registered?

I'd appreciate any advice, thanks!!
