According to ETV, and the moron they were interviewing from the ANCYL and cosatu the mouth piece said, that they would wait for it...
"We would actively partake in active struggle..."

I ask you this, how does one struggle, when there is nothing to struggle against?
So come Friday, the kids will start Struggling... um... how will they do this? Please I am dying to see them at the moment of the trial go ahead would they start Struggling.
Please explain to me why they put microphones in front of the dumbest person in the room?

The ANCYL struggle to use their brains, that's how.

:D Good question.

They'll probably be struggling with their Maths homework?

the ANCYL struggle to open a bottle of pills with a childproof seal on it.

LOL, I wish I was making it up. But thats what they said. That they will actively struggle. sigh... All I can say is... morons, they love acronyms and they so do their followers.

Struggle to all own a Mercedes like their esteemed leader?

Stupid f**kers, its a ploy to relate to the heroes of the past and somehow make themselves seem important. Malema is an absolute baboon compared to the Mandelas and Sisulus of this world.

The biggest problem is that if they admit the struggle is over then they lose support. There always has to be an enemy they struggle against (stupid s**ts don't realise its themselves, most of the time). Just take Mugabe and his white settlers/Britain/Tony Blair/Gordon Brown excuses. If he admits that there is no longer a struggle then suddenly all this becomes his problem, and more importantly, his fault.

They've had their struggle; they were freed from it in 1994, weren't they?

:D That made me laugh only 'cause it's so true.

I was just talking about this exact thing with a friend today. You hear the 'struggle' word such a lot lately. 'Struggle' this and 'struggle' that. The struggling is over guys. You have it peachy now, don't you? There is nobody and nothing holding you back - judiciary included! Viva.

On the Mugabe subject...I find it completely laughable that he goes on about Bush and Brown and the evils of the broad-labelled "west" as though they were carrying out nightly bombing raids on Harare. Llike "the west" even gives a toss. And yet if you've seen the pictures of his "humble" abode, you'll notice that from the outside it looks like the west wing of the bloody white house and on the inside it's like a Victorian palace. Not one piece of African art or furniture in sight. Not to mention the fact that right now he's cruising the countryside in a British made Rolls Royce. I often wonder how people will view this Monty Python skit of a history lesson 100, 200 or more years down the track. BIG struggle.

I'm sure it could be arranged though. :D

But yes, Mugabe is the stuff wet dreams for cartoonists are made from. Without him this world would be just a little more boring, if not more sane.

Mythologising the past is necessary for the ANC to maintain unity, which in turn equals political power.

And there is the added bonus of shifting accountability - "its not the current government's fault, its the previous government's...".
