Support is still not great. And now they wont let their customers change down to prepaid. it used to be possible if you wanted to "pause" the service. Apparently prepaid does not exist as an option anymore.

Sometimes is does, sometimes it doesn't.

Activated a R250 uncapped simcard today.

Like you can't even compare it with 5G. My 5G constantly over 300Mbps down and 100Mbps upload. Everything is like unshaped torrents, vpn, video streaming in 4K everything.

Then on 4G it's like slow and torrents and VPN is limited to less than 1Mbps and Youtube buffers I'm guessing they cap that even though speedtests show 28Mbps on 4G+

5G premium is really premium and I can't complain about it. Uptime wise well it apparently disconnected once in the 19day boot time but that was probabbly when I was sleeping because I did not notice it. At R999 and the speeds I get I don't think there is another offer that can beat it.

Can’t vote one Tapatalk.

Very happy with the switch to 5G.

Kicks VDSL’s ass for performance and for value likely beats any fibre offering if I ever got one.

Considering the Standard 5G Rain for R699 , thinking it might be better value for money than a 10/10 fibre line from Vumatel for the same money.

Consistency and I presume with loadshedding the fibre wins probably?

How does rain work for me?

not well. Paid my R479 and awaited a sim.

Received a sim yesterday within a reasonable enough delivery window and at 11am got confirmation it was activated.

It will not search towers and support so far has been helpful. As of 5pm yesterday, received word that manual activation was needed and this was escalated.

Still nothing.

Phoned support today at 9:45am, told me the ticket was being attended to.

Still nothing as of 11:26.

I’m just fed up with making phone calls and still being unable to work.

It worked well for me on the R250 package for 10 months until they start doing the throttle on their network. The speedtest results and what I did experience was not the same at all. I have put in my cancelation for this month, so it will be my last day with them.
