Can someone please explain to me in simple language how the hell the billing system of data bundles work.

2 days ago I subscribed to a 500MB bundle @ R189. They then told me something about pro rata that I didn't quite follow. I phoned again tio speak to a another rep but I still don't understand it. Maybe I'm just stupid to understand this whole pro rata thing or maybe it's the Afrikaans boytjie in me that's kicking in. I'm still not sure if I pay the full amount + the pro rata for this month and I then get the 500MB ... of something to this effect.

If I want to subscribe to another 1GB bundle how will this affect my billing on the 13th of the next month?

AFAIK you will be charged the pro rata fee and received the pro rata bundle for the month eg. bundle started from exactly the middle of the billing month, then you will be charged R94.50 and receive 250 MB.

Edit: Your bank account is debited at the end of the month (or other date that you chose) and the next data bundle will kick in on the 13th of next month.

I subscribed on the 20th but I'm on the last 2MB of my cap. I know because I phone in and I'm told how much of my 500MB is still left. So I have received my full bundle.
