Just bought this thing to cut back a section of wire fencing and I guess they assumed I'd know how it works but it's a puzzle....

Now you got me wondering for the rest of the weekend. What was it please at least the name.

OK, so quite simple actually. All those bolts and screws - no need to touch them. It works a treat, and only R245 from Builders Warehouse.

Leverage making your work easy. :)

A bit of over kill maybe but, anything else would take for ever.
You will be surprised all the uses you will find that tool.

Yep :) my arms will be sore tomorrow but it got the job done.

Lol a bolt cutter to cut some wire fence xD

It worked well, and a few strands had to be removed, not just one cut :)

Thank you, but I do see the funny side :D.

How was there any confusion as to how this will work?

It’s like any pair of pliers, just bigger.

Suggest you lock away --- burglars love those things

Hmmm, I can imagine. The gardener's eyes would also light up if he saw them. Best kept inside the house. Thank you Geoff.

   all those screws and knobs looked as if they had to be adjusted in some way. Different numbers on each jaw.

Also, truth be told, I'm used to scissors where you push the handles towards the centre not pull them apart....

Oh and @Steamy Tom, will post a pic of what needed to be cut. Women don't have big muscley arms like men you know;) had to cut a 2m x 2m piece out of this fence.

@LaraC gets it. Those long handles are great for leverage.
