do u then need to have a dish installed? About the channels, can you choose channels such as discovery? Do they have similiar channels to DSTV?

Once you buy the decoder, you will be given a number to dial. (08600 TOPTV ....... or 08600 86788 for those who can't spell. )
Call the number and follow the steps you're given.
