How Eskom really operates

As the main supplier of electricity in South Africa, Eskom is the most important state-owned enterprise and a cornerstone of the country’s economy.

Without a stable electricity supply, it is impossible for the economy to grow, create jobs, and alleviate poverty.

All good and well knowing how the top-structure is oriented, but its the middle to lower structures that are in disarray

5500 employees currently under investigation for anything from blatent theft to being involved with tenders to you name it....

The rot is too deep. Stealing is a way of life there and it's gone unchecked for too long.

Andre de Ruyter took on this pile of **** when noone else wanted to touch it or be associated with it. He's got balls that are made of some yet to be discovered natural armour.

I think it's called honesty.

Noone can **** with you or try and entrap you if you walk a straight path.

Oh, I forgot. He just happens to be white too and not a Cadre .

Clean, honest broom that owes no favours or payback to anyone. He's got a job to do. And he just gets on with it :)

Few years ago someone with the name Cyril , was place to fix Eskom.
And he failed at that like he's failed at everything. He must be lucky he's connected

Got to give all of those comrades high paying jobs somewhere, lets make more committees and advisory groups.
Im sure De Ruyter could actually do it himself if there wasnt so much meddling from government, unions and everyone else who wants a say in things.

5 ''layers'' before a decision can be made?

Why is there a ''Political Task Team''?

Should be de Ruyter assisted by a team/board of industry specialists while the politicians sit quietly and mind their own business.
