Forgetting price, just out of interest what is the maximum speed Telkom could offer as things stand now?

Are they able to offer up to 4Mbps with the current infrastructure?

They are limited to 1.5Mbps downstream and 512K upstream (2Mbps in total) since they use ADSL G.Lite (allows far greater distances from the exchange than 8Mbps ADSL).

But at the end of the day with the amount telkom made in profit last year could you image what they might put it if they really care about clients.
