How get custom ringtones on Win 10 Mobile?

I've placed all my old WP8.1 custom ringtones in the Ringtones folder in the Lumia 950 XL. However, they don't appear in the list when settings ringtones in the Sounds setting.

Any idea how to get this working?
 
Seems to be a common problem with the latest W10M build. Have you tried copying the file from your PC to the phone via cable?

On my 950, my custom ringtone just appeared in the list and worked after I restored my WP8.1 backup.
 
Arthur and p51mustang something else to add to the mysteries of W10M.
Tried connecting L1520 and PC via USB cable both running W10M build 10568.36 and PC not registering the L1520, with only the phone showing signs of charging the battery. The way to transfer files is via Onedrive. Wonder if this intentional or will be resolved in the future releases.
 
The 950 and 950 XL is not Insider Preview, but was released with W10M.

Have no problem connecting and transfering files via cable.

Thx lets hope 2016 is W10M final release for all 8.1 devices. This should resolve other small issues.
