I already have a wireless network at home, just want to add ADSL to the mix.

Do I buy the cheapest 1-port ADSL2+ modem to feed into the wireless router, or is there something specifically I should be looking for in a modem?

Not cheapest, generally. Just look for a brand-name modem and you'll be fine. Something like a D-Link 2500U.

You should be able to get the D-Link 2500U for R300 or less, which is a single ethernet port ADSL2+ router. Just make sure that you upgrade its firmware, by downloading the latest version from the official D-Link (Russian) FTP server.

Make sure that your current wireless router can plug into your ADSL modem. It will need to have a WAN or uplink port to do so.
