Yes, definitely. It's something different, compared to the previous ones, but I really enjoyed it.
They used the money thing again, so you can upgrade your weapons and choose your inventory and whatnot.
You can throw knives and other items.... you have that slow-motion select and kill aim thing (like they have in SplinterCell)

It's the only game interesting enough for me to complete in the last year.

It felt a bit short. But it was interesting. Lots of different ways to finnish a level.

Yes, but it is one of those games that you can play over and over again.

Not my most favourite game of all time but definitely glad I got it!

This. I played it at least twice. Third time I went in heavy, guns blazing. Killed everything that moved.

As a fan of the previous Hitman games and someone who played through Blood Money at least ten times, I thought it was complete garbage. It wasn't a bad game on its own, but it was a completely rubbish Hitman game.

Haven't tried the full guns blazing approach yet. Next on my list of things to do :D

I agree with you.

I somewhat agree.

As a stand-alone it's not a bad game but if you've played the other Hitman games then this one doesn't match up. Blood Money for me was something special.

Absolution can be had for really cheap atm so I say grab it.

One thing I found difficult to accept (about the previous Hitman games) was the need (or perhaps just MY need?) for a walk-through. Some of the things you had to do I would NEVER have figured out on my own, for instance especially parts where you had to stand around (for perhaps minutes at a time) and wait for some to walk in/past. How would you ever know to do that??? I tried to complete the missions as stealthily as possible but there were times when I had no choice but to let it rain! Despite this aspect though, I thoroughly enjoyed the series.

Since I haven't played the new one yet, I sincerely hope it isn't the same but have been loathe to buy it as I've heard many mixed reviews about it. Still, I think the next time there's a nice special on Steam I will take the plunge.

Similar. For instance there is this one mission where you have to take out three targets. You can kill them in a million ways and they walk around at random times. So sometimes you have to wait I suppose. But there is always another way.

SPOILER!!
There is another mission where you have to take out a guy in the middle of a Chinese market. You can either race up to this apartment, pick up the sniper gun and "make it rain" or poison his drugs in said apartment and wait for him and his dealer to enter (or you could plant a remote trigger bomb in the alley leading to the entrance). Or you can go to another place on the map where he walks past and let a suspended crate fall on him by shooting at it. There are so many ways to kill him and some of them involve waiting - but you don't have to.

I repeated myself but I hope it makes sense.

But that's what made it so much fun. There were so many different ways to take out your targets. I'm playing Blood Money for the 8th time now and I'm still finding new ways to take my targets out. It's awesome.
