How long 10mbit to 20mbit ?

Up to 40mbit copper was released in my area so asked Telkom to bump me from 10mbit to 20mbit ADSL.

Couple Hours later I was Syncing at 20mbit and speed was great.
Then next morning everything went dead. Voice and data.
Still dead now in the evening, so down all day.
Telkom technical just says "order still being processed"


How long is the switch supposed to take?
Why was 20mbit working the night before without downtime ?

It might be that they changed the profile to 20Mbps which means you got changed to 20Mbps adsl2+

Now that it went down can mean that they are or have changed you over to VDSL and you should get a VDSL router. If you already have one I'm sure it won't take long before it comes back online.

Yes, Voice and data down all day.
Asked for ADSL, not VDSL
