How long does it take for the fibre coverage maps to get updated?

So the question is in the title.
About a month and a half ago Openserve finished trenching in my area (after they muscled out DFA) and I haven't seen my area on the fibre coverage maps as of yet.
Anyone know how long it takes to get "recognised" as it were that there is actually fibre installed?

Thanks

It's going to take a couple of months. I saw Openserve installing on the poles and took about 5 months or so then it went dark purple on the map. It depends on how fast the contractors finish the build.

Eish, that's a pretty long time. But a fair answer and pretty much expected. Thanks.

Took 6 months for my in-laws maps to get updated after the tech told them it was ready to go.

Sign up with an ISP. They will contact the cable provider. And asap once the cable provider gets back to them that the area is live your ISP can then get started with having you connected if you still want to go ahead with fibre...

Best advice.... The ISP will get a notice from Openserve that the area is pre order or in progress. The order will then be placed on hold until the date Openserve projects it to go live... Only problem is if you are in a complex it will take longer as the complex needs to be fitted as a whole before they install to individual units.
