How long does Vumatel take to add a premise?

In ordered fibre ops through Afrihost. I was told there is Vumatel in my area and I could find my address (a house) in the Vumatel online coverage map, but they still said they need to add my premise. They can’t give me a timeline as to when this can be done so I just need to wait indefinitely???

And what do they do when they add a premise, is it a configuration in the system or does someone have to go to the site and add wiring??

Premise creation usually takes about 3 working days sometimes longer.

Premise creation is required if you address does not show up on the Vumatel portal. We use the portal to order and if the address is not there we can't place an order.

It’s been 2 weeks and no update from Vumatel, they are “Planning to plot the address and map fibre” - any experience how long that’s taken for you guys?
Another week? A month? A year?
It’s extremely frustrating without internet at home
