Well, I can honestly say, I may not have been to many countries, but I been to all 9 provinces and the majority of the towns in South Africa.

Did you not go to Turkey as well? Or am I confusing mybb members?
No you not confusing matters, we were going to do serbia for a week and turkey for another week. There was a mess with Turkey evisas and we had to cancel this and rebook for 2 weeks in Serbia.

Zero regrets though loved Serbia!

Please just state the countries you have not visited. 🤣

All my trips never business, like going to off the beaten path destinations. North Koreans just get on with their lives, lots of poor people but I wouldn't believe much in the Western press these days. Tour guid was mid- twenties lady, super smart, latest tech and clued up everything going on in the world, happy to discuss anything. One could take pics of anything except military which is often the case elsewhere too. Plenty of tourists from the East, just no Westerners as they hide under their beds. North Korean ambassador issued my visa personally in Garsfontein. Sao Tome has some of the best chocolate and coffee on the planet, 3rd least visited tourist destination, how Mauritius, Seychelles was probably 50 yrs ago. Traveled the trans-Siberian too ... work from home works anywhere on the planet for the last few years.

When did you do NK?

AFAIK, the US banned their citizens from going to NK after Otto Warmbier died for supposedly stealing a propaganda poster. There is still a lot we don't know about what happened there.

Ghana, China, Russia, Canada and Botswana. Lived in Canada for a while on work visa 2005. Couldn’t cope. Came back.
Don’t get me wrong about Canada. Beautiful country. Great people - probably the best communities in the world. But, I grew up in rural Zululand, it was too much of a jump. The place was bitterly bitterly cold. Bone marrow chilling kinda cold  … it also sucked that I could not speak Zulu with anyone there, missed my family immensely. Got majorly depressed. But the company I worked for said I could come back anytime I wanted, yeah. Hard pass!, especially now that Canada will be an American State
