The Science . . . . . (funded by companies with a vested interest in twisting data)The Science
In another couple hundred years The Science will change again and we will be back to eating margarine and smoking ciggys
Yes, really. Nevertheless, the cost is not the reason that I don't do eggs every day. Aside from the time issue, I would likely get bored of eating the same thing every day.Really? Expensive compared to what? You can get reasonably decent eggs (albeit not free range and organic) for around R2.00 a pop. Yes, they will be grain fed so less than perfect, but still a really good protein and fat source, along with all the vitamins.
You meant margarine? Real butter is very healthyIt’s the cereal that will kill you, not the eggs.
Probably more the butter and cheese and such that usually goes along with the eggs that push into a real concern for cholesterol.
Well, you still haven’t answered the question, expensive in comparison to what? I can’t think of a single better complete protien, with all the added vitamins and minerals, that costs less than a couple of eggs.Yes, really. Sorry to hear that.None. I don't eat eggs. Haven't had eggs in over 15 years.

It’s not a bang-for-buck debate. It’s my taste, my time, and my kitchen and I prefer variety within my budget.Well, you still haven’t answered the question, expensive in comparison to what? Just don't like eggs. The taste, everything. That plus when I was young I sort of had an egg intolerence where I would get sick every time after eating eggs. I guess that's where my hate of eggs comes from.
I have no problem eating food containing eggs though. You don't taste the egg or anything.
Which is 100% fine and no issue there, but that wasn’t the point you initially made. You specifically highlighted the fact that they have gotten expensive, and that was what I was trying to make sense of. But you have cleared that up nicely. It’s not a bang-for-buck debate. Fair enough, the first thing that came to mind was how much more expensive eggs have gotten compared to a couple of years ago (not relative to other things). If I ate eggs every day, probably around 4-5 just for myself, it would definitely take a toll on my wallet. Then I thought about the time, cleanup, and monotony, but honestly, it's not that big of a deal. Still, I wouldn’t mind a nice big bacon and eggs breakfast more than once in a blue moon on a weekend.Which is 100% fine and no issue there, but that wasn’t the point you initially made. I agree with variety, I don’t think I would eat 6 eggs a day every day if all I was eating was hard boiled eggs, but I like mixing them into as many foods as I can. I do like the odd boiled egg too though…. But the bulk of my egg intake is probably raw.
Probably Rapport agterblad. Same thing as TikTok where you get your carnivore advice from.@Zellephant have you found out where all that bad nutrition advice from the 90s and early 2000s came from?
Except the respected food scientists and sports nutritionists mostly tend to agree with the tiktockers when it comes to whole foods, high fat/low carb and even to a large extent carnivore and paleoProbably Rapport agterblad. Same thing as TikTok where you get your carnivore advice from.
