How many South Africans are getting divorced

Interesting stats, especially the race split.

From what I have observed, friends and family, people are quite quick to throw in the towel.

Financial problems are often as a result of a bigger problem, a lack of communication in general, and then the slow drift starts..

Woman leaving their abusive husbands is also something I have seen a lot more of, different situation all together.
 
So the old saying that 50% of all marriages will end in divorces? Seems a bit wrong considering roughly 145 000 marriages were registerd in 2015 and 25 000 divorces happened. So giving a less than 20% divorce rate.
