Those are some serious numbers. Makes DSTV look quite pathetic.

Wonder how many subs Showmax has?
 
Does that 75 million subscribers worldwide include or exclude the 45 million in the US?

For good reason. :p

Just reading their report and the fact that they still deliver DVDs to 4.9 million customers surprised me more than a little. It generated $80 million in profit though so obviously it's worth it to them.

Is that the actual delivery of a compact disc or like "On Demand" on DSTV?
I actually think it's great service. If showmax does that like they do with "On Demand" it will be a massive game changer.
 
Why use Geoblocking when the world is increasingly becoming "smaller"??

Seems like a losing battle.
