How much data do you use on your cellphone?

So got my desire last week.
So far I seem to be using about 10mb of 3g per day. This is mainly just on syncing gmail/facebook, being logged into gtalk all day and a small bit of web browsing (like maybe 10 pages).
At home I connect to wifi and don't monitor that.

10mb seems rather steep. Admittedly I was looking at BIS thinking most people probably don't even use 1mb/day (R60/month at R2/mb) so it doesn't have much point besides the email integration/push.
Now though it looks like I'm in for about 300mb a month :( (I think MTN's closest bundle is R149/300mb)
 
I'm a heavy data user.I was averaging about R150 - R200 per month on my iphone. I'm using a BlackBerry on prepaid using BIS. R59 much better than paying R150 per month.

Cost on ADSL: R0.006 per mb :D
Cost on Cell: R2.000 per mb

I use about 0.8 mb per month on my cell. Slow, erratic & expensive. Do not want. :sick:

Would be more though if I had a suitable phone like an iphone or something. :o
 
I have a 500mb mtn data bundle which costs about R189/month. But that gets used up, so i end up using about 750/month. I use my phone as a modem when i'm at home as i donot have internet at home hence the high consumption.
I'm looking at upgrading to a 1gig bundle shortly.
 
Since 03/04/2010 till now and counting: 6.41GB down. 429MB up. That's without phone as modem use.
EDIT: I reset my data count. I'm using a Nokia.
 
@ Sensorei - how do u check data usage on blackberry device?
