How much do you spend a day?

Wow what do you guys earn per month to be able to spend up to R300 per day on take aways and coffee etc!

I am on a 7 figure package and I refuse to spend that much, I pack my own lunch and fruit and drink a cup of coffee and free water from the cooler at work. And probably once every 2 weeks or so I grab lunch with a couple of the guys at a restaurant and very rarely spend more than a R100 for the meal and drinks included.

Geez but you guys are crazy!

So you're saying you earn over a million a year and you couldn't be bothered to fork out a couple of bucks - you must be popular!

+1

Life is for living.

When you die that money isn't going to help you.

My food alone is R80/day at least on normal days. Eating healthy with lots of protein is expensive!

Pack of smokes a day - R17.50
Food - R50

R70 I should be saving, just don’t have the discipline.

Pack of smokes = R32
Lunch or Breakfast = R50 - R100
Supper = R0 - R500
Drinks = R0 - R1500 (I become overly generous when drunk, so most of this would consist of rounds of jaegerbombs for relative strangers) This occurs between 1 - 3 times a week.

Some days. nothing at all. I make a point of carrying no cash around. If I am going out to lunch, depending on if its my turn, it might be R 200. I do not like carrying around cash as I have twice been accosted, once had my arm broken by a skollie who assumed a whitie coming out of a bank must be loaded, meantime I had been in to deposit cheques. Even though the skollie's picture was visible on the bank's CCTV, the police made no effort to apprehend him and I have seen him walking around Wynberg Main Road on occasion
