How much does a private chef cost?

I want a private chef to come cook for me and my partner once or twice a week. Or when we have friends coming over. Just because we both love good food. How much is this likely to cost?

Oops then it can work when I have a special occasion. Say twice in a month. Works to about 60K. I can afford that
 
My boyfriend got us a private chef to cook for us in the house as a present. I think her pricing depended on the menu selection but I think it was like R800 for the two of us

SHe did flowers, decorations and everything.

Depends on how fancy you want it. The 5 course 6 hour prep is around R1.5k thereabouts (he charges for time plus ingredients and not number of people within reason) so call it 'average' R200-R250 per hour for two people

I can twist his arm might convince him first go he will only charge cost... :)
