How much does ADSL actually cost?

Ok so I am fed up with my current 3G connection and have decided that maybe its time to switch over to ADSL. So over the weekend I spend some time having a look and discover the following.

analogue line - R166.50
Telkom Do Basic (2 mbps line 10GB soft cap) - R219.00

That gives me R385.50

So on tuesday I pop in to the local Telkom shop and the guy behind the counter says its R399.

So my question. How much is it actually? R385.50 or R399?

I would say DON'T sign any contract and make up your choice with provider so you have freedom to change .

EDIT: As per Spamhater, you have to pay double as a new customer for the first month only. Thanks for pointing that out.

as a new customer , just a remember your first month you have to pay double for your land line & ADSL line & capped package or upcapped package as telkom customers you pay ahead .
