How much does interior paint cost

Maybe I can return it and buy some Silk or Velvet paint? The receipt says returns within 10 days

If you go that route just be advised that it will cost more than double...
Plascon Double Velvet or Dulux Luxurious Silk are the most expensive at around R2,500 for 20L.
Always try and buy paint from the floor, as in the colour is already mixed and you just pick up a tub and off you go. If you pre mix a colour the price goes through the roof.

Also look at Duram or Fired Earth, they have decent paints for normal rooms etc.

I have to first return the paint tomorrow, but once that's done I will rather go with Duram or Fired Earth. I took the 5L I don't think I need 20L that's way too much for what I need.

I will have to find someone to donate the rest of the paint to.

Just be careful with white paint though, man it can get dirty :-(, well I mean I have had 8 years of kids running around.

That's what's great about premium paints, they're extremely easy to just wipe down and clean.

Ive never had a good experience with Duram or Fired earth, try Luxens from Leroy Merlin its R850 for 20l. Recently bought some dulux true colours and it was absolutely horse ****. Fortunately LM was kind enough to refund me on the opened paint and I got Luxens, much better coverage.

LInk?
If its says walls and ceilings its probably the same shyte as she just bought.
A proper washable indoor paint will say something like silk/velvet/sheen
Even the cheapest brands would ask at least R1200 for a 20L of proper washable paint

Most of the paint at Builders is cheap crap.

Buy the best quality paint you can afford.

Stick to the known brands.
This, builders does sell the quality Dulux so do your research. I painted a few rooms and cheaper Dulux paint look chalky and was affected by water while the expensive still look great years later

Oh, yea I can see by the price that's going to be a bad time 😅
I wanted use it to cover the original peach colour crap that was behind some cupboards that i removed. The True colour paint/semi skimmed milk is so bad you would not have covered it with 100 layers. The luxens got 99% percent there on the first layer and 100% on the second.

This was after two coats on the walls and ceiling.
