Moved to a small town called Steynsrus and unfortunately it's one of those towns a bit behind with no adsl available.
Was told that they could easily upgrade the central server (no sure what it's really called) to support ADSL by installing some "cards", but that it would cost too much.
I'm kinda curious as too how much it exactly costs for telkom to upgrade a site like that to be able to provide adsl?
Also how does one find out Telkom's upgrade plans. Dialing numbers is a lost cause with them.
