How much gold do you need?

Not to mistake this for a gold selling post but how much gold does one really need once you're into 70?. I've got my epic mounts, I could buy the new hypogryph for 1600 if I wanted to but I'm happy with my netherdrake.

I've bought available gear at AH, am exalted with Ogrelar and Cenarian so dont need to buy regular mana pots anymore at AH. Apart from buying wizard oil and repairs bills and occasional enchant I'm just accumulating money from dailys.

Or fund an alt apart from that most players spend there cash on Pots and Repairs for raiding.

It does depend how much you raid...

I slack with my consumables in raids, cept on vashj... there are players who fully pot/flask/food/scroll and go outta their way 2 buff themselves 2 the max on trash (ie BOA), hearing from a friend in that guild, on Kael they were spending 300g a night, took them 3,5months 2 down him!

Im funding my alts and repairing/buying pots on dailies atm... i cant get higher than 700g atm (my eng mount burnt a rather large hole )

(BOA is the top raiding guild 4 those not on Lightbringer)
