You might get more than the face value from someone who might want it for sentimental reasons.

It all depends on the signature. Not sure who came before who etc, but you can google that. Just because it's not mint condition doesn't mean it's not worth anything (highly dependent on the signature). Source: My Uncle works for the reserve bank.
