Hi,

My friend brought his Xbox over for a few hours so we could both see some features (he bought it last week). We hooked up to this Live! thing and we're interested : how much is it?

I see 5 pounds a month (R75pm), but what about those downloads such as Ecco The Dolphin and Sonic? I see they're 400 something ... what is this?

And the things within ... like downloads? Is that a currency?

As above for Live as for the 400 thing that is the cost of buying the arcade games.

You pay for them using Microsoft points which are about R120 for 800 points I think? I could be wrong though.. lets see if I can find out exactly.

Pleasure but before you bring up the cost of Live in another pro-PS3 thread remember that Live is currently tons better than PSN so comparing them is pointless ;)

Pffffft ;)

I've got no issues with either .... touched my first Xbox control only yesterday actually. How far behind is that? :P Anyway, I'll stop stirring ....

What kind of exchange rate do you xbox folk get when you buy in dollars?
I have always been interested.

About 14:1 for R:ÂŁ.

oh. wait. there's nothing worth paying for on PSN :p ...

i havent used this site before, but they offer 12month gold codes for $37. http://microsoftpointsxbox.com/

btw, can anybody tell me of a store where i can buy s regular wired headset? ive tried BTgames and game here in cape town with no luck

Dam I registered in UK and I see its Half the price for a 12 month membership if you register in the USA.... basterds!

Now.. my dam GameTag is linked to UK... but what happens if I was a person moving from the UK to the US?

Lol so first its no games, I miss prove that, then its oh its actually quality, so what you gonna say next? Or will you just start from the begining again and say there are no games, that seems to be the usual pattern!

Super Stardust HD
TEKKEN 5 DR
MK2
Lemmings
Loads of awesome ps1 classics.
LocoRoco CocoRecco
Those are the only ones my bandwidth have allowed for now all of which are awesome!

But yea then there are also things like Warhawk which easily outways any game released online online for xbox!

Abev have you played Flow yet?

That game looks addictive but I haven't had the chance to have a go yet, is it any good?

No I havent, my cap has been destroyed by all the games, need to save some for actually playing :)
