How much is my camera worth?

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-S500 http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs...51&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=11040163, I want to sell it and put the cash towards a PC upgrade.

That link will give you the specs but it's 6mp, 3x optical zoom, it's just a compact, but I think it can take a pretty damn good picture.

So if I sell it it will be along with a case I bought for it, 1gb mem stick pro duo, and I guess a battery charger with Ni-MH 2000mAh 4x AAs that I got for it. It has the box and all the cables and stuff too, and it's in perfect condition, not used a hell of a lot.

What should I expect to get for it? I was hoping for about a grand for the lot, but maybe I'm being too ambitious?

Camera like that... keeping it is more valuable than trying to sell it.

You can get "better" P&S's for about R1000 now brand new... so you'll never get that for a 2nd hand camera... like Niccia says, about R500 is prob right.

Ok I thought it was probably a bit much, but really I don't use the thing much and I'd rather have a decent PC for a change, even R500 bucks might be worth it for me. I guess that sounds fair, I think I should be able to put it up a bit 'cos of the mem stick and stuff though.
