How much is my golf worth?

Its a 2008 1.6 CitiRox 58k on the clock. No air con:cry:.

its really well looked after! i want to sell it and buy a Corsa Bakkie as it would be more useful to me.

any advice?
 
where are you based ...in cpt you could get around 80k cos here the golf prices are gone crazy .....

been seeing 04 models with 120k on the clock or more go for around 50/60k
 
It's such a good little car if i had the cash(R8000) i would fit a aircon. keep it and buy me a cheap bakkie.
 
R80k? FFS with that money I can easily get a Clio 2, Corsa Classic, or former Fiesta. All of which are waaaaaaay better cars.

yeah and then when you have to service a golf ...it costs what an air filter costs for those cars

personal choice ...OP asked whats the prices not what you can buy for that money
 
O and I sold my 2005 Velociti 1.6 in 2010 for R56 000.... So you should get R80 000 or R72 000 minumun

golf prices are crazy in cpt at the moment so doubt he will lose alot ...as there are still 1st time buyers mainly guys that would prefer a golf over other cars

i picked up mine for 50k ..a 07 with 80k on the clock and something like that goes for 65k here

Well some people like the 1970's design vibes and safety features that are unique tho the Citi Golf. If you offer them one with a front loading LP player they'll pay big bucks for it, through in a mirror ball around the rear view mirror, a Bee Gees LP or any disco music and you've got a deal :cool:

Hahaha! I didn't even see that! Funny stuff. But on the real, a tin can with 0 safety features and design from the 70's... What do you expect? 20k's a fortune!

Thing is, you can buy a 70's model, change the rims, lights and interior and what do you get? A brand new version. Haha. Crazy.
 
WTF? The guy asked how much his car was worth, not who is the biggest douche.
The ****ty Golf may be an old piece of outdated crud, but it's still a better drive and more fun than a Corsa lite or a Tazz.
