How much to charge for Clarkconnect

hie everyone

I am installing clarkconnect 5 "community version" at a client,s site , would you all please advise me as to what a suitable installation fee would be and then also i would need guide lines as to how much i can charge the client as a retainer fee , the client plans to use the server as a file and mail server mainly

you should be charing a per-hour fee depending on your level of experience.
I assume, and this is a rash assumption, that you are new to this and therefore I suggest you charge around R150-R250 per hour.

As for a retainer fee..... take the amount of hours you foresee yourself being on site at that client for the month, work out your hourly fee, maybe even buffer it a little.

I charge at least R1300 for a basic setup, then more depending on the required configurations.

Also remember to take into a per pc setup charge and how many hours you will spend configuring the client workstations.

The SLA idea is also very good.. a monthly charge to maintain the box.

DHCP server, firewalling, mailserver OR fileserver. If its both or more, I add a little more. Like both file server and mail server would be R1500 for me.. want a web server? Thats an extra R150.. want flexishares? Thats another R150... want vpn? That another R150.. etc.
