just wondering, with RMAH prices through the roof and AH gold prices also crazy would you pay real money for gold?, if so how much. im guessing seeing as gold will be selling per 100 000 and min is 1.25eu that is going to go for 10eu per mil, i know this seems high, but i think we might be in for a surprise and people might pay this.

i know people are gonna say 10eu per mill is crazy it will never be that high, but after all, no one ever could of predicted 250eu per item

what u guys think? what would you pay?

Buying gold at that price (that is if bliz doesn't change the current pricing system for commodities) is insane considering the prices people put decent items up on the auction house for. I mean any decent upgrade for my wiz would cost me R2k easy and I definitely do not have that kind of cash laying around for a virtual item that bliz may nerf at any time they see fit.

I thought this was a serious question until I saw where the thread resides

The problem lies in that Blizzard have free reign to nerf items on a whim, without the community being able to say or do a damn thing about it. So if you buy an item worth $xxx, you have no idea if Blizz are going to nerf it(and the odds are they wont) but in saying that, you are virtually guaranteed that your investment will lose 99% of it's value when the expansion comes out as they will no doubt be upping the level cap.

So if you think you can get enough out of your investment in terms of enjoyment, and items farmed to resell, before that happens, then it may be worth it for you, but if you dont like to see your investments tank then buying gold isnt for you.

Simple answer don't buy until the markets have settled down. And why should 1.25Eu per 100k be the minimum? Is that based purely on the minimum trade price of the AH or actual numbers quoted from somewhere? I would think people just would be pushing the 100k up to 1M for 1.25Eu. The past weekend have seen some big influx of goods onto the market, at high prices. My feeling is most of the stuff will not sell and people will re-list today at lower prices. The big AH players most likely will also have to drop their prices. Look out for those bargains ;)

And as a extra note, if blizz does not change the commodity part of the AH people will just buy gold from external sources (and sell on the blizz AH).

What can they expand on the game add ELITE INFERNO Stage ? lvl 70 woot get 1 shotted by mob yay. Diablo and myself have a love hate relationship. Good game that I want to delete or burn to disc just so that kick **** out of it.
HTF do ppl get so much gold, I got two lvl60s and have never picked up anything that could sell for over 100k. My DH is stuck on The Larder, fat bastard farts all over the room so u cant own him.

And they really need to do something about our stash, My stash is full all 3 tabs, got two mules and need to make 3rd. both ah are full. And I have 50 items in both that need to go back to my stash. They should take away the limit on the ah, keep limit on RMAH.

Time to clean out your junk then ;) did that over the weekend, made 25Eu, and now have both AH clean and 2 open tabs. New drops are raining down at the moment, so having the extra space to ensure you do not collect junk is quite important.

What irritates me about inferno it that you have to be lvl60 to get in, then why are most the drops lvl 51 up. If you have to be lvl60 then surley the drops should be for lvl60 oO.

I mainly sell on the RMA atm. Have about £75 there. I also buy from there seeing that it is money that I made within the game anyway

I was running low on gold yesterday, but after an inferno farm run and a few sales I'm up to 1.6mil again :)

Not really farming, Quested through act 2 over the weekend. Repairs were high, covering the gold drops. But item drops were significant to offset that :D

Act 2 seems to be the sweet spot for me at the moment where I can move through the packs relatively fast enough without dying much, and seem to get alot better drops than I do in the butcher runs.

Although I must add that there is a marked difference in questing with someone you know and who will stop to hit the elite pack dungeons, where as pubbies seem to rush straight to magda with 2-4 valor.

Yes, they need to find a way to protect the economy from gold farmers.
Like diminishing returns for people who are clearly farming to sell.
Or perhaps a system that limits the amount of goods that you can trade in a day for eg.
