How much would you sell this for?

A friend just got a 2500K rig and wants to sell his old stuff. I want to know if this is a fair price.

1 x Core 2 quad 2.4 Ghz Q6600
4 x 1GB Transcend Jetram DDR800
1 x Gigabyte P35 DS3R (Revision 1)

Total @ R1500

So fair price or not?

Also I forgot to mention that you get a really nice cooler with it: Zalman CNPS9700

R1500 sounds about right to me.

R800 - R1000 sounds better to me, a BRAND NEW i3 + mb should cost around R1500, add R200 for 4gb ram (thats dd3 1333)

I just had a look on carbonite and the q6600 alone still goes for R850+

Why don't you donate it to a charity or some under privaleged school kid?

I have just upgraded my pc and so planning to build up a pc for one of the ladies at my work who's daughter starts high school next year.

I was thinking of giving it away but its almost feels like such a waste :-/. My parents wanted to buy it but a 4870x2 is a bit of a waste for using Word and Outlook./

I only had people interested in the screen. Suck really. I knew if i had sold the screen that nothing else would have gone so i didn't split it all.

I haven't seen a Q6600 in recent times that was sold for more than R650. When someone list it for R850 it doesn't mean it was sold for R850.
