How much is ADSL a month for a home user, everything included expect router and ISP account

Used to be R812 excluding router's monthly downpayment. I know it will be more from Feb 2004.

If you take the router on 6 months downpaymentit worked out something in the order R1300 or there abouts per month.

Remember this excludes voice calls...

Is it R680 for the ADSL
and R132 for line rental
So for a home user who bought his own router has to pay over a R1000
a month for ADSL. That's Crazy
If thats true then telkom must put it there were it hurts

To be exact. At current pricing you will pay exactly R899 per month for the service if you make no phone calls and havge your own modem/router.

II ordered an adsl line and the lady who confirmed the order said that we have to pay a deposit of R1500 and the line installation is R440 and monthly cost is R1100 afterwards. So my cost for adsl installation is R3000. But the R1100 was n bit to extreme just to “surf”

you only pay the deposit if you fail the credit check they do on you, you're probably younger than 21 and / or have bad credit
