How not to set up a solar array

For those new to solar or planning it.

This is how NOT to do it.

Every time someone asks info I mention if there is shade do not do it.

(I have purposefully cropped this badly to make it as poorly identifiable as possible)

If this tree is not going to be cut down this was one massive expense all for nought. You better bet that the house to the right is also causing massive issues in the afternoon. I cannot imagine what looks like a 6kwh array produces more than 6kwh in a day :( such a shame.

I have seem many such set ups though, its shameful that an installer would do this too...

(all this is on the assumption that the tree will not be cut. I will update in a few weeks as its on the dog walk path)
 
From that angle it even seems like the front panels would shade the rear ones.

Terrible.
