How NOT to transfer account ....

SO I go in to change our Telkom phone account from my deceased mother to myself.

Sorry sir .. no transfer , have to cancel and start a new account R220.00 odd

OK fine just do it while i lube myself.... So the idiot at Telkom office Blue Route closes our 3Gig account and opens a 1Gig account. The docs they give you have no details as to what was given.

So go home and lo and behold I get capped at 1.5Gig summing. Phone the pda's and the say "eerrr sorrie sirrr bu you capped" I go balistic and advise them of the change. Being a Sunday - I cannot phone the account dept becoz theres no-one there. So I use MTN 3g and buy 1 Gig top-up. Yeah -could not even connect to the ADSL Top-Up site.

Monday I phone accounts and they say - all we can do sirrr is activate a 3Gig account and you will be billed full for the month. So I go balistic again and advise her exactly what I will do when a viable alternative even hints at putting service in my area.

So I get for my honest attempt:
Transfer R225.17 odd
plus 1Gig account
plus 1Gig topup
plus 3gig THAT THE ********* was supposed to activate ALL TOLD +-R1000.00

That's telkom. When will they go out of business! Ohh wait they won't cause they steal our money and complain about the cables that are being stolen from them. God they are a bunch of losers! If I had the cash i would leave this country right now. We just lack the proper technology. Why cause every person just wants to make money and he will stab everyone in the back to get it. I mean imagine the publicity Telkom will get when they announce they have the cheapest internet in the world!! They will surtenly get more customers and they will be respected!
