Erm, you seem to have things mixed up there buddy. The original trilogy hardly has such memorable and inspirational moments as “I AM THE SENATE!” or “I HATE THE SAND!”

Rian Johnson only directed the second movie. I'd say JJ Abrams saved the franchise. Johnson endangered it again with his misguided sequel.

Lucas was occasionally a pretty great director. THX 1138, American Graffiti, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars. Then other times he was so bad it almost boggles the mind to think it can be the same person.

Steven Spielburg directed Raiders , Lucas wrote it, fair point though- he was considered a bit of a prodigy in his youth...
