How Sanral changed its e-toll collection targets

The revised forecasts notwithstanding, it is clear that month-on-month there is an upward trend in payment since the Deputy President’s announcement in May. This is all we are saying – the facts don’t lie,” said Sanral CFO Inge Mulder.

Did they really get 82 million in July? They already have the figures for that? I'm suspicious.

How can they have made so much when most prices were halved on 1 of July? I'm sure there hasn't been a 50% increase in payers... I call BS.

I don't understand. It seems they are happy by introducing low targets. Surely as a company you should be concerned about your debtors but they aren't in the slightest. I just don't understand.

So, like the Dept of Education, just lower the bar and call it a success. It doesn't change the fact that the amount of interest is increasing...

Indeed. Will it now take 50 years to pay it back or what?
It's seems to be they are saying it will take 15 year to pay off but they don't say if that is just the etolls or the roads themselves. Considering the payments to the Austrians and all the admin and staff costs I wish they were transparent what costs what.

30%-ers.. and if they're still unable to make it lower the passmark even more.

It looks like they took last years figures and then made predictions based on that hence the lower expectations for the bottom end of the eat ;) Cool.. so you can predict eToll collections but.. does that mean you meeting your target? I think not.. just means you can predict how badly you falling from the target haha
