How Telkom saved me R249

So I reboot my modem at about 21:00 last night and suddenly no internet. So after much rebooting of modems and PCs I give in and decide to phone Telkom. After waitng 10 minutes my call is answered and I ask if there are any problems that they know about. Of course they do not.
The Telkom guy asks for my username, checks my account and tells me Im capped. Fair enough ive done about 22 gig this month its bound to happen. So after an hour Im going through withdrawal and decide what the fcck, Im not going to do with out internet access for the rest of the month and phone Telkom again to buy a new account. After waiting another 10 minutes Im told the guys who activate accounts knock off at 20:00. WTF talk about post office mentallity. They've got guys taking calls 24 hours a day but they cant allow at least one to activate accounts?
Anyway as it turns out it wasnt a bad thing. When I got up this morning my adsl was running fine. So much for being capped.
Thanks Telkom your incompetence saved me money this time.
