How Telkom steals thousands from customers when cancelling.

I cancelled my telkom line via the email method and stopped paying via EFT. After receiving another invoice the next month, I just kept on resending the cancellation documents every week and when Telkom started bitching about non payment sent them the proof of cancellation. Did not loose any money.
 
Email cancellations have been stopped.. apparently the system is down???
They tell you to cancel online.. which following the steps brings you to page that does not have the option.
I've spammed most of their social media pages with no luck..

does any1 have a sample of the cancellation form for me please.. want to spam all the email addresses i can find.. till someone responds..

Agents easily give away their email addresses.. here is one.. [email protected]. will get ALL of them till they cancel my line..

I just need a copy of the cancellation form please..

The email bounces back, and online doesn't show the "cancel" option. Very frustrating.

I have the form, but there's no point in emailing it.
 
Guy I know moved to Australia, still trying to cancel three months later - blocking the debit order seems to be the best way forward.
 
My phone contract ended and I sent them the cancellation form. They did not acknowledge it. I see they are not debiting the entire contract amount, but they are still debiting R50 from me, even though I sent through the cancellation, which they did not acknowledge.
 
When you cancel a Telkom contract or month to month service, you are required to send a cancellation form.
But Telkom never actually acknowledges the cancellation form until you kick up a fuss on social media, and by that time several months have passed of billing, which can run into several thousand Rand of additional Billing.

There is apparently now (finally) an online cancellation option in the new selfservice.telkom.co.za portal that is mostly automated (where the previous cancellation process that required lots of manual work hasn't worked for years due to staff reductions).

I just had to escalate an online cancellation that hasn't been done for 2 months
