He has definitely had some flops but then he also has some amazing stuff. The rock is one of my all time favourites.

His last good movie, probably Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Loved The Rock as well. Need to rewatch it again. Also thought Natrional Treasure wasn't bad. He has a string of really good movies, but yeah his latest ones have all been disastrous.

The trailer reminded me a bit of Mortal Kombat and Predator.
It will probably be full of action, but not much i.t.o. story line.
